GARDNER — Gardner Valley School is cancelling the charter board meeting and enrollment lottery planned for April 5 to comply with COVID-19 precautions. The charter board will publish the date of the next board meeting and enrollment lottery when known.

In the meantime, the charter is accepting letters of interest from parents and students. To submit such a letter or just to ask questions about the School, call, text, or email Janet Kinniry (719 289 8889; kinnirylaw@gmail.com).

The Gardner Valley School accepts all students from pre-school to eighth grade from anywhere in Huerfano and Custer counties. The school will operate on a four-day week, like all other district schools. The Gardner Valley School will provide bus service from Walsenburg and Gardner.
